In this text, we present the progress of a research project that is being carried out in conjunction with teaching and outreach activities. We will discuss the characteristics and peculiarities of the educational practices of a kindergarten in a public social management school in the city of Resistencia, Chaco, Argentina. From this perspective, the school assumes an "alternative" pedagogical format within its foundational project, where it is characterized as anti capitalist, anti-imperialist, and currently as anti-patriarchal. The rights of children are prioritized, with "education at all levels, work as a synonym for dignity, and respect for the values of humanity in the face of adversity" being held as fundamental values. In this way, the school strengthens and generates forms of self-organization and self-government. The methodology used is ethnographic, based on participant observations and in-depth interviews with school actors. The publication is part of the Research Project "Studies of processes of citizenship construction in the university and early childhood levels, from Latin American epistemological perspectives" - Consolidated Research Group Teacher Training and Early Childhood Education.
